I provide a form of psychotherapy that involves the use of many models of personality and approaches to psychotherapy. Most of the models I use come out of the Humanistic movement that includes cognitive behavioral therapy, Gestalt therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Rogerian therapy (client centered) etc. In addition I utilize aspects of analytical models, such a Reichian character analysis. More recently I have incorporated Mindfulness Based practices such a sitting and moving meditation, and Non-dual teachings into my work.
All forms of psychotherapy depend on a solid client-therapist relationship and a mutual commitment to producing results. A central part of doing effective work is the educational component where the client is learning how the process of psychotherapy works involving developing insights and applying the new realizations to the target issues.
